NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORKSHOPS
Marin County Board of Supervisors
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Marin County Board of Supervisors will hold two public workshops on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 2:30 PM* and Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 5:00 PM* to continue the discussion of potential solutions to prevent displacement of existing residents and preserve housing affordability in unincorporated Marin County. A number of policy options to address these issues were presented to the Board of Supervisors at an initial workshop held on October 13, 2015 (Staff Report and Presentation available here:
http://www.marincounty.org/depts/cd/divisions/planning/housing/affordable-housing). At the upcoming workshop dates shown above, the Board will continue this discussion and explore policy options in further detail.
The Board of Supervisors workshops will be held in the Marin County Board Chambers (Room 329, Administration Building), 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael, California, where anyone interested in this matter may appear and be heard. The week prior to each workshop date, an agenda and staff report will be made available on the Board of Supervisors meeting webpage and at the Community Development Agency, Suite 308, San Rafael (open Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, closed Friday). If you have comments regarding these workshops, please submit them in writing to Alisa Stevenson, Planner at astevenson@marincounty.org or 3501 Civic Center Drive, Suite 308, San Rafael, CA 94903 prior to the relevant workshop date.
