Marin City’s Annual MLK/ Black History Month Celebration

You are invited to celebrate Black leadership, history, and culture at Marin City’s annual MLK/Black History Month Celebration on Saturday, February 26, 2022. The celebration opens with a Human Rights March, 10:00 am beginning at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, 101 Donahue Street, Marin City.
Following the Human Rights March, the event transitions to Martin Luther King Academy for a special program with Keynote Speakers; State Senate Majority Leader Mike McGuire and Contra Costa District Attorney Diana Becton. The presentation will be available in person and via Zoom at https://bit.ly/MarinCity/ML
Important Information for Marin City residents will be provided by the Marin City Community Service District, Marin City Climate Resilience and Health Justice, and the Golden Gate Village Resident Council. The event will be punctuated with live music and youth presentations.
Additional live music and a box lunch will be provided to the community at the Marin City Senior Center in conclusion of the program.
