AIM Food Farm Arts

Food, Farms, & Art Opening Night Reception

Bartolini Gallery
10 Ave of the Flags
San Rafael, California
December 4, 2019
6:00 PM PT - 8:00 PM PT

Local nonprofit Agricultural Institute of Marin (AIM) in partnership with Marin Cultural Services, will host an exclusive Opening Night Reception for Food, Farms & Art, AIM’s 2nd annual art show and sale.

During this special evening you’ll be able to meet the artists, enjoy live music, taste local farmstead cheese and Bay Area artisan wine and beer. You’ll be the first to see work by local artists who are passionate about local food and farming. The evening will also feature beautiful seasonal foods sourced at the Marin Farmers Market and prepared by a local chef.

Proceeds from ticket sales and a portion of art pieces sold will fund the campaign for the Center for Food and Agriculture , a dynamic public space that will house the new state-of-the-art farmers market and supports education, economic development, and regenerative agriculture for future generations.

AIM is a 501c3 nonprofit that organizes seven year-round farmers markets in the San Francisco Bay Area, including the Thursday and Sunday markets at the Marin Civic Center, as well as the seasonal Summer Market in downtown San Rafael.

We operate a mobile market three days per week, offer educational farm tours, market tours and classroom visits, conduct farm audits to ensure the integrity of the food that comes to our farmers markets, and provide matching funds for CalFresh recipients to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. AIM’s mission is to educate the public about the health, environmental and economic impacts of eating locally grown food directly from farmers and to connect communities with local and regional food systems so the public can access healthy, sustainably grown foods.
