On Tuesday, November 19, the Marin City Community Services District and Marin City Health & Wellness Center, two leading organizations serving residents of southern Marin County, will host a Senior Health Fair.

Sixteen organizations providing services to seniors will participate, with tables, experts and free resources available. Speakers will address topics of special interest to ages 55+. The program runs from 12:00 - 4:00 pm.

There is no charge for this event.

By 2030 more than 33% of Marin County’s citizens will be over 60 years old and nearly 14% will be 75+.

We invite residents of southern Marin County to share a meal and hear about resources for healthy aging, including: active adult healthcare, mobility and balance, services of the Financial Abuse Specialist Team (FAST), avoiding elder abuse, emergency preparedness and power outages, companionship programs, and trust and estate law.

These organizations will be participating:

2020 Census, A Matter of Balance, Community Action Marin, Covia, Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) and CalFresh, Lawyers in the Library, Marin Access, Marin City Community Services District, Marin City Health & Wellness Center, Marin City Library, Marin Health & Human Services, Shore Up Marin City, Tamiscal Student Volunteers, Voter Registration, Whistlestop, and YWCA: Fifty+.
