Citizen Marin invites you to MEET & GREET the CANDIDATES
Corner of Schmidt Lane and Steven Way
San Rafael, California
4:00 PM PT - 5:30 PM PT
Local elected officials, of course, make decisions regarding their own community. More than ever, through regional agencies and JPAs (Joint Power Authorities), they also make decisions that impact the lives of everyone in the county.
Background: Five cities have contested city council races (Fairfax, Novato, San Anselmo, Sausalito, and Tiburon) in the November 7th election. There are also contested races in the Marin City and Muir Beach Community Service Districts. There are no challengers in Larkspur or San Rafael. In total, 32 candidates are running for 17 contested seats.
CITIZEN MARIN: Citizen Marin is inviting the candidates to describe their candidacy, network, and build support for healthy government. Citizen Marin does not endorse candidates, but builds a network among leaders to identify county-wide and regional issues that influence every jurisdiction.
