Join us for showing of The Interrupters and an interview with Alex Kotlowitz, recognized for his unflinching portrayal of race and poverty in America. Kotlowitz partnered with Hoop Dreams director Steve James to produce this film, which won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary.
This event at the Bayview Opera House launches a quarterly discussion and film series on the culture and wellness of Bayview residents - and a $1.2M renovation campaign to save the clinic's historic building from developers!
