Fairfax Planning Commission Hearing on the Wall Property Proposal

The Woman's Club
46 Park Road
Fairfax, California
March 17, 2016
7:00 PM PT

The Fairfax Planning Commission, under the direction of planning director Mr. Moore, will hold another meeting trying to gain public support for the developer's proposal to build up to 10 houses (with up to 10 second units) on the 99 acre Wall property. At a previous meeting the Planning Commission agreed to add second units as a permitted use in the Upland Residential Zone so there is potential for 10 houses plus 10 second units.

Why are Fairfax residents being continually used as a sounding board for the developer? At the 2nd of these meetings, the developer, who paid $1.75 million for the 99 acres, offered to sell the Town 84 acres for $3 million and only develop 16 acres. And, the last plan proposed, #2, did not meet Fairfax development and zoning codes.

If you go, tell the planning Commission enough is enough and it's past time to start the California Environmental Quality Act process.
