Amazing! On one hand you have the California Attorney General, Xavier Becerra, D, arguing against the recent federal lawsuit that "states and local jurisdictions have the right to determine which policies are best for their communities,” and on the other hand you have Scott Weiner and his utopian state zoning bill (SB 827) that would allow taller buildings near “transit” in our towns and cities. Up to ten stories!
A developer who supports this bill was quoted as saying, “What you’re going to get is infill that's going to feel more like Boston.” No thanks! I’m siding with the AG on this one. We’ll decide locally what’s best for us.
