Open House for Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Rehabilitation and Improvements

COUNTY NOTICE:
The County of Marin has been planning for the rehabilitation of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard between Highway 101 and the Ross Town Limits, using the opportunity to comprehensively evaluate and improve conditions in the corridor. Over the last 30monthscommunity input from several forums, along with engineering and traffic analysis, has informed discussions and guided design concepts to improve conditions for motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users in the corridor. Through the community process, over $19 million in project ideas have been identified while project funding at this time is $13.5 million. While some project components are mandatory due to the funding source requirements, your input is being sought on which of the other components are priorities for you.

At the open house, you can:
- Learn more about the project and the planning and community activities to date
- Provide your input on and help prioritize the project components
- Help improve circulation and movement for all users in this key corridor

The drop-in format of the open house enables you to attend for as much time as you’d like to review and discuss the project your priorities with staff and the design team in an informal setting.
