Mill Valley is one of the most beautiful places on Earth and we are privileged to live here. With our towering redwoods, ambling creeks, and vibrant neighborhoods, our city is an incredible place to share the joys of nature and community with our children and grandchildren. In the years to come, we will face difficult trade-offs as we place ever-greater demands on our natural and built environments. And our task will be complicated by growing threats from wildfire, plastic and pesticide pollution, and climate change. In short, our choices matter, and it starts with our vote.
Our City Council must be stewards of this special place, and Max Perrey is a community leader who rises to that standard. He is a life-long member of our community, whose deep connection to Mill Valley dates back generations. I have partnered with Max on local environmental initiatives and community-building projects, and believe that he embodies the values of our community. He brings a proven track record of advocacy, including leadership on emergency preparedness, elimination of single-use plastics and toxic pesticides, preservation of open space, pre-school access for all, renewable energy and local climate crisis mobilization. He has held leadership positions in numerous organizations, including Sierra Club Marin, MarinKids, Sustainable Mill Valley, and as Emergency Preparedness Commissioner.
With an impressive array of endorsements, including endorsements from Congressman Jared Huffman, our firefighters and police officers, the Sierra Club, the Marin Democratic Party, and numerous elected officials, Max has a base of support that will allow him to hit the ground running. Together, let’s make the right choices to protect this amazing place.
