MARIN VOTERS - Submit your Ballot to a Polling Place or Ballot Dropbox

MARIN VOTERS -

Do NOT drop your ballots in a post box or post office after November 2 (seven days prior to election day). Deliver your ballot to a voter center or ballot drop box. Here are links for the locations of ballot drop boxes and voter centers (and the times when they are open).

Marin has a high rate of late-arriving ballots - more than 40% higher than the statewide average - see the attached analysis of data from this website https://elections.cdn.sos.ca.gov/vbm-rejection-reason/june-primary-2022.pdf

Ballots risk being rejected because there can be a considerable delay in being postmarked and/or a great delay in actual delivery. Any ballot postmarked after election day is automatically rejected. Any ballot received after the statewide deadline (seven days post election) is also automatically rejected.

As a democracy, we aspire to have every eligible voter vote and for that vote to count.
