Know the facts when you cast your vote

The story of the tactics big development in Redwood City, is using to influence elections seems extreme and it reminds me of a situation we have here in Marin.

Here in Marin, a woman filed a formal complaint with the Novato City Manager against our two most knowledgeable, outspoken, and courageous City Council members, Pam Drew and Pat Eklund.

Then, our local paper ran a very misleading story as front page, top of the fold "Councilwomen accused of 'lurking' at open house."

So the experience of people in Redwood City is relevant to more than just Redwood City, in these critical weeks leading up to the election.

It reminds us all of the importance to remember to ask questions and get the real facts when making your voting decisions.
