Pension watchdog David Brown sues the City of San Rafael and its City Council
David Brown, a member of the Citizens for Sustainable Pension Plans, has brought this legal action as an individual, based on his contention that certain pension enhancements were illegally approved by the City of San Rafael City Council
As reported in the Marin IJ, Brown says, “As a result (of the enhancements), all citizens of San Rafael have suffered and will continue to suffer irreparable damage by the payment of taxes in excess of what they otherwise would have paid in the past or will pay in the future.”
