The most important thing you can do this election: spread the word
The way to effect much-needed, positive change in Marin County is to elect new Supervisor candidates Kevin Haroff (district 2); Susan Kirsch (D3); and Al Dugan (D4).
BESIDES VOTING FOR THESE CANDIDATES, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO THIS ELECTION SEASON IS TO SPREAD THE WORD. PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS.
This year’s spring election season offers a once in a generation opportunity for positive change in Marin, which has long been in the grips of a political establishment that defies the voters’ best interests.
The entrenched Establishment’s policies are on the brink of destroying what we treasure about Marin.
Crony politics underpin our growing traffic paralysis, which is tied to pro-urbanization policies that stress our infrastructure, deplete water adequacy and degrade the environment. Our supervisors cater to campaign-donor special interests: developers, building trades, engineers, consultants, public employee unions, and a host of entities seeking supervisor-controlled contracts, handouts, and favors. The resultant fiscal imprudence fuels surging parcel taxes and a huge unfunded pension liability; these make Marin unaffordable and mortgage our future. Worst of all, our political elite pays lip service to public engagement and transparency. We constituents are outsiders in this rigged game.
Three supervisor seats are up for grabs. Let’s elect the candidates best prepared to be the Voters’ Voice: challengers Kevin Haroff (district 2), Susan Kirsch (district 3) and Al Dugan (district 4). These are highly qualified candidates committed to reversing the current supervisors’ policies and representing US voters. None of them is beholden to special interests. All three are endorsed by Citizens for Sustainable Pension Plans. Haroff is also endorsed by the Sierra Club.
If we succeed in electing all three, our Board of Supervisors will no longer be controlled by the political Establishment and special interests.
This is the voters’ chance to regain OUR voice at the board of supervisors. This election’s outcome affects everyone who lives in Marin because a majority vote of the 5 supervisors controls much of what happens in the entire county.

Act now before it’s too late. Vote for Haroff, Kirsch and Dugan via mail-in ballot or June 7 at the polls AND SPREAD THE WORD. Marin’s future depends on you.
