Thanks for the Reuter's article on Plastic recycling ("The Plastic Pandemic-COVID trashed the recycling dream").
My concern is where in the USA are the plants making new plastic and how are they being monitored in where the waste chemicals are going.
Environmental damage to our waters, not only by plastic, is a concern but another issue that the EPA is not addressing is the funding for toxins found in water at supersites and close by from mining and military bases in California and Nevada.
Leukemia levels are higher in some of those areas - so linking health and drinking water is necessary for our future generations. Vote for those who have the same concerns.
