I have been canvassing for Environment California this summer to promote a statewide ban against polystyrene, what most know as styrofoam. The two bills SB 54 and AB 1080 both promising to reduce single use plastics by 75% have both been passed in their houses of origin and it is vital that our state officials vote to pass these bills.
Talking to the people of Marin county door to door, it is clear to me that the majority of this county is for this ban and are willing to do whatever it takes to protect their oceans.
So I strongly urge for the Assembly member Marc Levene and Senator Mike McGuire to vote to pass these bills and truly begin the transformation of a better Earth and cleaner Environment.
