Dear Friends,
We have an important election for Supervisor of District 3 on June 7th. This district includes Mill Valley, Alto, Strawberry, Tam Valley, Almonte, Tiburon, Unincorporated Tiburon, Belvedere, Marin City, Sausalito, Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Angel Island.
We have two candidates running for this position: Challenger Susan Kirsch and Incumbent Kate Sears.
I'm writing this email to support the candidacy and election of Susan Kirsch. I firmly believe that Susan is far and away the most qualified candidate. I strongly encourage you, your family, friends, neighbors and colleagues to support her candidacy as well.
Susan has a proven track record of community leadership and service to Marin County. She has the professional education, background, ability, skills and personality traits to be an outstanding Supervisor. The one trait that really stands out in my mind is her integrity. Her moral compass is definitely pointed in the right direction, and she adheres to solid ethical and moral principles. She is a trustworthy, sincere, honest, genuine and decent woman. She takes principled stands on the difficult issues such as traffic, massive pension debt, and housing.
If you want to learn more about Susan, here is a link to her website: http://www.susankirsch2016.com/ You can see where she stands on the issues and learn more about her impressive background, education, business career and extensive community leadership. You can also endorse her, make a donation and volunteer in her campaign if you so desire.
Another way to learn more about Susan is to attend the "Community Open House" on Thursday, May 5th from 7-9 PM at the Mill Valley Community Center. This will be a great opportunity to meet her and to ask questions and hear her views on the issues. This event is hosted by former Mill Valley Mayor Dave Raub. Please RSVP to Dave at 415-383-0396 if you plan to attend.
I hope that you will join with me in electing Susan as District 3 Supervisor.
Sincerely,
Bob Canepa
