Livable California

Lessons from the Candidates and Campaigns

Taraval Police Station
2345 - 24th Avenue
San Francisco, California
November 10, 2018
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Livable CA celebrates the courage and commitment of qualified community leaders who ran for office with a goal of taking their seat as an elected official. On Saturday, 11/10, we'll be hearing from these men and women who threw their hat in the ring and/or have run rigorous campaigns for important issues.

Liang Chao, Cupertino City Council (confirmed)

T. Keith Gurnee, San Luis Obispo Mayor (confirmed)

Kathleen Jenkins, Orinda City Council (out of town)

Anja Miller, former Brisbane Mayor, General Plan Amendment on the ballot

Mike Murphy, San Francisco BOS, District 4 (confirmed)

Julie Testa, Pleasanton City Council (confirmed)

Learn about their campaigns, strategies, and lessons learned about the threats and opportunities to sustain a Livable California. Network with like-minded colleagues from around the Bay Area who are collaborating to secure legislation that promotes moderate growth that balances commercial/residential development with business paying its fair share, and is mindful of infrastructure and the environment. Make it a carpool and come with a friend.

Gathering starts at 9:30. The meeting starts at 10:00, and afterwards everyone is invited to network over lunch at the nearby Tennessee Grill.
