This is an interesting short interview with Josh Rauh, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. My impression is that Mr. Rauh is not holding out great hope that the CA Supreme Court will go as far as the lower courts in challenging the California Rule.
Granted, upholding the lower courts findings against "spiking" would have an affect on future pensions, but not nearly enough to allow government agencies to remain solvent without additional taxation.
We should be hearing the State Court's decision in the very hear future.
I have posted this item on the CSPP Facebook page for your comments.
