Novato is having its first ever district-based city council elections.
In District 1 we have an opportunity to elect a highly skilled professional with the business and financial acumen to provide oversight and policy that will benefit the community and the city.

Goals and Priorities:
- Maintain Public Safety Personnel at the Maximum Level
- Taxpayer Advocate and Fiduciary
- Prioritize Fiscal Sustainability Planning
- Advocate for Open and Transparent Government
- Attract New and Support Existing Business
- Listen to Voters
- Focus on District and Community Wide Needs
- Fund Infrastructure such as Roads, Buildings, Medians
- Attract and Retain Experienced Staff
- Prioritize Capital Improvement Projects
- Explore Public/Private Partnerships
- Focus on Strategic Planning
- Preserve Quality of Life for Novato Residents
